About Our Membership

What is a Private Membership Association (PMA)?

A Private Membership Association is a private organization formed by people who share a common purpose, operating under private contract law. Unlike traditional businesses, PMAs operate as membership communities where all interactions are governed by private agreements between consenting members. This structure allows us to serve our members' interests exclusively, with an additional layer of privacy and confidentiality.

Who can become a member?

Membership is open to homeowners facing mortgage challenges, property tax difficulties, or related housing situations who complete our application process and enter into a private membership agreement. We serve members across various situations, from those just beginning to experience financial strain to those facing imminent foreclosure or tax sale deadlines. Membership is by private contract only; we do not offer services to the general public.

What does membership cost?

Member contributions vary based on your situation and the level of support you need. We offer different membership tiers to ensure there's an option for various circumstances. During your consultation, we'll discuss contribution structures that fit your situation. All fees are treated as private bailments under our membership agreement.

Is the initial consultation free?

After you submit your membership application, we review it to determine if our services are a good fit for your situation. The initial consultation to discuss your circumstances is provided as part of the application review process, with no obligation to proceed with full membership.

Is TriPoint Home Solutions a law firm?

No. TriPoint Home Solutions is a Private Membership Association that provides services for individuals with mortgage or property tax difficulties. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or practice law. Our services help members understand and navigate different processes, prepare documents, and explore available options. Members who need legal representation should consult with a licensed attorney.

This foreclosure help FAQ covers the basics, but every situation is different. If you don't see your question answered here, reach out, we're happy to talk through your specific circumstances.

How It Works

How long does the process take?

Timelines vary significantly based on your specific situation, the type of challenge you're facing, the path you choose, and the state you live. During your consultation, we'll give you realistic timeline expectations based on your circumstances. Some situations can be addressed quickly; others require more time. Our team works within your timeline while respecting the realities of your situation. Understanding how the process works helps you plan ahead.

What documents do I need to provide?

The specific documents depend on your situation, but typically include: mortgage statements, property tax notices, any legal notices received, and basic financial information. Don't worry if you're missing documents, we can help you obtain what's needed. Our detailed questionnaires for mortgage and tax lien situations help ensure we gather all necessary information.

Do you work with people anywhere in the country?

Our Private Membership Association accepts members from various locations. However, because processes and remedies vary by state and county, we'll discuss during your consultation how our our process would apply to your specific jurisdiction.

Your Situation

This section of our mortgage help faq addresses specific scenarios, whether you're behind on payments, facing a tax sale, or unsure what options remain.

Can you help if I've already received a foreclosure notice?

Yes, this is one of the most common homeowner help questions we receive. Many of our members come to us after receiving foreclosure notices. While earlier intervention typically provides more options, there are often still administrative processes and remedies available even late in the process. Complete your membership application as soon as possible so we can assess your specific situation.

What if I've already been to a tax sale?

Depending on your state's laws, there may still be options available even after a tax sale. Many states have redemption periods that allow homeowners to reclaim their property. Apply for membership immediately so we can evaluate what options may still exist in your situation.

Can you guarantee results?

We cannot and do not guarantee specific outcomes. Every situation is unique, and results depend on many factors including timing, your specific circumstances, and the administrative processes available. What we can promise is that we'll work diligently on your behalf, keep you informed throughout the process, and explore every available option. Our commitment is to provide honest, transparent facilitation support.

How is my information protected?

As a Private Membership Association, all interactions between members and the association are governed by private contract and held in strict confidence. Your personal and financial information is protected under our membership agreement and is never shared with outside parties without your explicit consent. The private nature of our association provides an additional layer of protection beyond standard business privacy practices.
